1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Newsom Car Hire. These Terms and Conditions govern your reservation, hiring, and use of all vehicles, drivers, and related executive mobility services provided by Newsom Car Hire across Nigeria. By reserving a vehicle or utilizing our services, you expressly agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
2. Renter Eligibility & Documentation
Renters must be at least 21 years of age for executive sedans and 25 years of age for high-performance supercars or ultra-luxury SUVs. Renters electing self-drive must present a valid Nigerian Driver’s License or International Driving Permit held for a minimum of two years, alongside valid government-issued photographic identification (International Passport or National Identification Number).
3. Reservations, Rates & Currency
All rates are billed in Nigerian Naira (NGN). Reservations are only considered confirmed upon verified receipt of payment through our designated secure payment gateway or corporate wire transfer. Rates include comprehensive vehicle insurance and standard maintenance as specified in your booking agreement.
4. Security Deposits & Deductions
A refundable security deposit is pre-authorized prior to vehicle handover. The deposit is released within 48 to 72 business hours following vehicle return and technical inspection, subject to deductions for unauthorized mileage, interior damage, traffic violations, or fuel discrepancies.
5. Prohibited Vehicle Uses
Vehicles may not be operated under the influence of narcotics or alcohol, utilized for street racing, sub-rented to unauthorized third parties, or driven outside approved geographical state zones without express prior written consent from Newsom Concierge.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts sitting in Lagos State, Nigeria.
